Late last night, Andrew and I were talking about the Mets, when he changed the subject to something surprising and exciting (I don't remember what exactly, maybe a college basketball upset), and he meant to say "by the way" but accidentally said "by the wow." So from henceforth, "by the wow" will be used to change the subject to something surprising or exciting.

Who are you, and why are you writing a blog?
Howdy, my name is Zach Weber, and I am your tour guide for this blog. A while back a few of my friends/ co - bloggers decided that instead of ranting to ourselves about all things Mets, we take it public and create Under the Tressel. The Purpose of this blog is simple, to allow an outlet for outrage, disgust, happiness, and any other feelings we have towards the Mets, and sometimes baseball at large. We are usually a fun and little eccentric bunch so I hope our writing will show that. As for the name, it’s a rather simple story. As much as I love the Mets, I will not pay $50 to park, so instead we park under the tressel, in neighboring Corona Park, and walk to the game. I hope you enjoy our writing, and feel free to contact us and leave comments.

Hey everyone,
I know I haven't posted yet, but I have a good idea, Mike and the Mad Dog every year do the "over/under" for teams, I say we do the same. Each person picks 3 teams and we use the Vegas odds. No one can use a team that's already been used. How bout it?
